Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP for school settings
- Experience working in school environments, preferably with elementary caseloads
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development, data tracking, and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student growth
- Document student progress and participate in regular IEP meetings
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students, adapting interventions to suit individual needs
- Engage in case management for your caseload, maintaining compliance with all state and federal requirements
