Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience or strong interest in serving elementary-aged students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in an engaging, school-based setting
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
- Implement effective intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation per state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
- Offer training and support to staff and families regarding speech/language development
Position Details:
- Direct hire (permanent) role
- Full-time schedule—35 hours per week
- Elementary caseload, supporting students’ communication development throughout the school year
