Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting or with elementary students is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, caregivers, and support staff
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for elementary students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Use a variety of evidence-based techniques to address speech, language, and communication needs
