Speech Language Pathologist in Rosenberg, TX
Step into an impactful role supporting student communication and language development for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract opportunity provides full-time hours (37.5 per week) working on-site with students in grades 6–8 or 10–12, based on your preference. The assignment is set on the southwest side of the Houston area, with consideration given to your location when determining school assignments.
Open to both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows, this role encompasses the comprehensive duties of a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, including direct therapy, participation in ARD meetings, and conducting speech and language assessments. If supervision is your passion, there is flexibility for candidates interested solely in providing this support. You’ll collaborate closely with educational teams and families to create positive outcomes for a caseload of approximately 50–60 students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas FL SLP license (please upload an image of your license when applying)
- Open to both CCC-SLPs and CFYs
- Ability to perform (or supervise) the full range of school-based SLP duties: therapy, evaluations, documentation, ARDS, and more
- Experience (or strong interest) in working with middle and high school students
- Must complete district fingerprinting requirements if not already on file
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy and assessments for students in grades 6–12
- Participate in ARD meetings and help develop IEPs
- Maintain documentation and contribute to student progress reports
- Work with education teams to support student success
- Optionally provide supervision to other SLPs or interns
