Candidates who are completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are highly encouraged to apply. Your route to credentialing will be seamless with the district’s efficient fingerprint process—existing prints may be accepted.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas FL licensure (image of license required with application)
- Open to CFY candidates and experienced SLPs
- Availability for full-time hours (37.5 hours/week) during the 2026-2027 school year
- Ability to manage caseloads of 50-60 students in grades 6-8 or 10-12
- Willingness to complete district credentialing, including fingerprints
- Comfortable working on-site in a middle or high school environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for assigned students
- Conduct assessments, participate in ARD meetings, and complete testing as needed
- Offer supervision to SLPA staff, if preferred
- Maintain documentation and collaborate with educational teams
