Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license in Illinois or eligibility
- CFY candidates welcome to apply
- CCC credential or in process strongly preferred
- Experience with elementary-aged children, particularly in autism support
- AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) experience required
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students in two autism classrooms
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Administer and interpret assessments utilizing provided testing materials and equipment
- Collaborate with other professionals during monthly meetings and roundtable discussions
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality
- Attend regular check-ins and team meetings with school leaders
- Engage in annual performance reviews and targeted professional development
