Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Illinois SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure prior to the start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus
- Skill in designing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with compliance to state and federal regulations
