Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rock Falls, IL
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year. In this position, you'll be providing dedicated speech and language services to a local elementary school, collaborating with experienced team members to foster communication skills and confidence in young learners.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid and active state license for Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with students and other educational professionals
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to assist an SLP upon her return later in the semester
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Your impact in this role:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-age students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Support, collaborate, and transition responsibilities as the returning SLP re-enters later in the assignment
- Maintain accurate records and IEP documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
The assignment is conveniently located at one elementary school with caseload details to be determined. The role begins in February and continues through the end of May, offering the opportunity to make a positive difference in a supportive educational environment. Interviewing will be conducted remotely with panel or one-on-one formats.
