Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred, with knowledge of school-based SLP practices
- Must meet any state or district-specific requirements; familiarity with PEL certification or related credentials is a plus
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a diverse student caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment goals and plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff and families
- Support the current SLP upon her return later in the semester, providing seamless transitions and coverage as needed
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards
