Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (IL SLP License)
- Meets all state and district requirements for school SLPs
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload as directed
- Participate in the assessment, diagnosis, and development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain and document progress and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Assist in transitioning caseloads mid-semester and share responsibilities as needed
