You’ll have the opportunity to manage a varied caseload, including special support for another SLP upon her return during the latter part of the assignment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLP License
- PEL (Professional Educator License) required
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Support the returning SLP with transition and caseload management
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, evaluations, and interventions
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administration about student development
