Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain Washington licensure
- Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP process and compliance
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic success
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings
- Offer guidance and education to teachers and families on speech-language issues and strategies
- Participate in professional development activities and staff meetings
