Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience working in school settings with students with developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to individual needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive environment for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students with developmental disabilities and autism
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and communication plans
- Engage in classroom-based support, modeling, and consultation with teachers and support staff
- Foster communication skill development that contributes to students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
