Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Experience working in school settings with students with developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to individual needs
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students with developmental disabilities and autism
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and communication plans
  • Engage in classroom-based support, modeling, and consultation with teachers and support staff
  • Foster communication skill development that contributes to students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
