Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred, particularly with students with developmental disabilities or autism
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with a range of developmental disabilities and autism
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals, tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of progress and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for communication needs
- Deliver both individual and group therapy, prioritizing evidence-based practices
