Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CCC-SLP certification
- At least one year of experience within a school-based setting
- Experience with AAC devices preferred
- Comfort working with students ages 7–21 with intellectual disabilities and autism (IQ below 70)
- Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide part-time SLP services (20–25 hours/week) for the full school year, including a six-week ESY term
- Manage a caseload of students with developmental disabilities and autism (predominantly AAC/non-verbal, some with behavioral needs)
- Deliver individualized and group therapy using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support plans
- Maintain thorough, progressive documentation and IEP updates
