Key Qualifications:
- Active New York SLP License required
- Experience or relevant training in school-based Speech-Language Pathology
- Skill in pediatric SLP, with a strong foundation in assessing and addressing varied communication needs
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, as well as seasoned professionals
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students (35 hours per week, school-day schedule)
- Conduct evaluations, develop intervention plans, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Track progress, maintain records, and collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team
- Support students with articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language, and AAC as needed
- Deliver services on-site, with potential for involvement in teletherapy depending on student needs
