Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop creative solutions for diverse speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication strengths and challenges
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in group and one-on-one formats
- Monitor and document student progress toward established goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals to promote student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and professional development opportunities
