School Speech Language Pathologist - Hereford, Arizona
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-8 students by providing occupational therapy in a virtual school setting. This flexible role is ideal for experienced therapists interested in working with a small caseload and making a meaningful impact in students’ educational journeys. You’ll collaborate with school staff and families to deliver outstanding care—while enjoying autonomy over your work schedule.
This position begins August 10, 2026, and runs through May 22, 2027. You’ll manage approximately four students per week with an allotment of up to 7 hours weekly, allowing for either a concentrated single day or distribution across several days as you prefer. School operating hours are 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing additional schedule flexibility.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (current or in process)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Comfort providing virtual therapy (voco) to K-8 students
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy OT services to students in grades K-8 in accordance with IEPs
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Track progress and document all interventions using school-based platforms
- Collaborate with other educators, families, and service providers to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
