Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Voco OT on a flexible contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year. Based near Tombstone, AZ, this position offers a unique chance to make a difference for a small caseload of K-8th grade learners through targeted occupational therapy services. Your expertise will directly impact the educational and developmental journey of four students.
Candidates must have:
- An active Occupational Therapy license issued by the state of Arizona
- A valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience or passion for supporting K-8th grade students in a school environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with students, staff, and families
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy services virtually, supporting students’ participation and success in school activities
- Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with other educational professionals
- Monitoring student progress, documenting outcomes, and adjusting interventions as needed
- Consulting with school staff and family members regarding strategies and interventions to support each student’s growth
- Maintaining all required documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
This contract position offers up to 7 hours per week, with maximum flexibility regarding schedule. Sessions can be completed in a single day or spread across several days, depending on your preference, within standard school hours (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
