Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid SLP license (Arizona)
- Recent experience in school-based pediatric speech therapy (K-8 setting preferred)
- Skilled in Medicaid billing for therapy services
- Competence supervising and mentoring SLPA staff
- Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and evidence-based speech-language therapy for K-8 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Oversee and supervise the on-site SLPA, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Document progress, maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, and ensure timely billing for Medicaid services
- Communicate proactively with parents or guardians regarding students’ progress
