Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Current SLP licensure, ASHA CCC required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
- Proficiency with Medicaid billing and documentation
- Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-8 students
- Complete assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Supervise and support an on-site SLPA according to state and school guidelines
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid billing procedures
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and timely documentation
