Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly valued
- Experience with pediatric and school-based SLP services
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Flexible and motivated to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students in PreK–8 settings
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to support student progress
- Document and report student outcomes and maintain records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
- Support and educate families on strategies to encourage communication skills outside of school
