School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Ontario, California

In this role, you’ll offer expertise in speech therapy, communication intervention, and ongoing support for students, families, and teachers. The position begins in the second week of December and continues through the end of the academic year, with a consistent Monday-Friday, seven-hour-a-day schedule. Compensation for this assignment ranges from $50 to $65 per hour.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Current California SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based caseloads, including moderate to severe populations
- Background with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Effective communication, time management, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to K-8 students with a focus on moderate/severe needs
- Prepare and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and other support staff
- Engage in data collection, progress monitoring, and report writing
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development
