This contract position is located near Glendora, CA and offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young learners. The assignment runs from the second week of December through the end of the school year, with a schedule of 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
This role includes a competitive pay range from $50 to $65 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Qualifications:
- Speech-Language Pathology license (CA state)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptance
- Experience in a healthcare, school, pediatric, or teletherapy setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively with K-8 students, specifically those with moderate to severe needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to achieve student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
