You’ll work within a single building, fostering continuity and establishing strong relationships with both students and staff.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Arizona
- Accepting both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience or clinical placement in a school setting is highly valued
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 59 elementary-aged students
- Perform assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Provide both direct intervention and consultative support within the classroom and other school environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student eligibility discussions
- Support students’ communication needs to enhance their participation and success in the classroom
- Maintain organized records according to school policies and regulatory requirements
