Qualifications and Background:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility to obtain
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY; supervision provided for clinical fellowship candidates
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage with students, parents, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver therapy services onsite, with a focus on fostering communication skills for academic and social success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
