Step into a key role supporting student achievement as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, providing services across middle and high school campuses in the Houston area (Southwest side). Designed with your flexibility in mind, this position takes into account your location when assigning schools and offers the opportunity to work with students in grades 6-8 or 10-12, based on your preference.
You’ll be working a full-time schedule—37.5 hours per week—from August 11, 2026, to May 26, 2027. The caseload will range from 50 to 60 students, giving you a manageable scope to make a direct impact. Your expertise will help guide learners toward better communication skills, shaping brighter educational journeys. Whether you thrive in providing the full spectrum of SLP services (therapy, ARDs, and testing), or if your strengths shine brightest in a supervisory capacity, your skills are welcome and valued.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Licensed SLP with current Texas FL credentials (please include a license image with your application)
- Open to both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFYs)
- Fingerprint clearance with district (or already recorded in the system)
- Comfortable with a middle school and/or high school caseload, according to your expertise and interest
- Ability to perform or supervise therapy, ARDs, assessments, and consult with educational staff
- Professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy for grades 6-8 and/or 10-12
- Complete assessments, participate in ARD meetings, and develop student-centered treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and collaborate with educational teams
