Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP licensure (Florida license a plus).
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs).
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience preferred with middle (grades 6-8) and/or high school (grades 10-12) students.
- Ability to perform all aspects of school-based SLP duties: assessments, therapy, ARD meetings, progress monitoring, and IEP documentation.
- Candidates seeking a supervision-only role also encouraged.
- Must be able to provide a digital image of your TX SLP license.
- Fingerprinting required per district guidelines (existing prints may be accepted).
- Willingness to participate in quick credentialing and potential prescreen interviews.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students on a caseload of 50-60.
- Complete evaluations and contribute to appropriate documentation for ARDs, IEPs, and progress reports.
- Deliver services one or multiple school sites in the southwest Houston area, taking your location into consideration.
- Collaborate with knowledgeable support staff and multidisciplinary teams.
- Communicate effectively with families and educators regarding student progress.
