School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Richmond, Texas
Step into an exciting opportunity to provide dedicated speech-language services in a dynamic school environment near the Richmond, TX area. This contract position requires on-site support in middle or high schools within the southwest region of Houston. Working closely with students in grades 6–8 or 10–12 based on your preference, you’ll deliver impactful care that helps them reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active Texas SLP licensure and Florida (FL) licensure
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Comfortable with the full scope of SLP responsibilities, including therapy, ARDs, and assessments
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 students
- Must be able to provide a clear image of licensure upon request
- District fingerprint clearance required (candidates may have prints already on file)
- Commitment to full-time hours (37.5 per week) for the duration of the school year
- Professional, organized, and adaptable to support the evolving needs of a school environment
Your Role:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in selected middle or high school settings
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans
- Participate in ARDs and collaboration meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district guidelines
- Serve one or more schools with consideration for your commute and preferences
