Step into a rewarding contract role providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a vibrant educational environment near Richmond, TX. This full-time opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek across one or more middle and/or high schools, depending on your preference and proximity.
You’ll work with students in grades 6-8 or 10-12, depending on your expertise and interests, and benefit from fair school assignments based on your ZIP code. The district seeks a licensed SLP to perform the full spectrum of duties, including therapy, ARDs, and evaluations, but if your preference leans toward supervision only, that can be accommodated as well. Caseloads typically range from 50 to 60 students, giving you the opportunity to impact many lives throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active TX or FL licensure (please include an image of your license with your application)
- Open to both experienced SLPs and CFYs
- Ability to fulfill all district credentialing, including fingerprint clearance
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preference for candidates who have prior school-based experience, but all are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted therapy and manage a dynamic caseload of middle or high school students
- Complete evaluations, contribute to ARD meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and the wider school team to support student progress
