Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license issued by the state of Texas
- Open to SLPs holding the CCC or those seeking their CFY
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required
- Ability to work effectively with students ranging from elementary to junior high ages
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-based mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication, language, articulation, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student needs are met
- Maintain up-to-date records and provide clear documentation of services
- Support the educational team by participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional insights
