Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license
- GaPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) Teaching Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfortable delivering onsite services and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in compliance with IEPs and educational goals
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services and student progress
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes student success
Additional Details:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite services only; remote/virtual options not available
- Contract expected through May 2027, providing long-term continuity and relationship-building with students and staff
