Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current SLP license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Prior pediatric, early childhood, or K–12 school-based SLP experience preferred
- Competence in assessing and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborative, adaptable approach to working with diverse teams and student needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with varying levels of need
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Provide support and consultation for parents and staff regarding communication development
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and participate in IEP meetings
