Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid or eligible California state licensure
- Previous experience working in schools preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Collaborative attitude and dedication to student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services to students individually or in group settings
- Communicate student progress and treatment plans effectively with staff and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes according to school policies
- Participate in IEP and staff meetings, providing expertise and advocacy in speech-language development
- Offer support and resources to teachers and families to promote carryover of skills in academic settings
