Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet the diverse needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, identify communication disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on speech and language goals
- Offer guidance and support to teachers regarding classroom strategies for students with communication challenges
