Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates also considered
- Experience working with K-12 students in schools or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language assessments, IEP processes, and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, organization, and team collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team sessions, and staff development activities
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to school policies and state/federal regulations
