This full-time, on-site contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the Extended School Year, supporting a diverse caseload of K-8th grade learners. Qualifications:
- Current and valid California SLP license required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention practices for school-age children
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students K-8 and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services based on IEP goals, tracking students’ progress consistently
- Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, families, and other service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive educational plans
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Serve as a resource on speech and language development for staff and families
