School Speech Language Pathologist - Rancho Cordova, California
Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community near Rancho Cordova, CA. This contract opportunity offers both full-time and part-time schedules, providing flexibility to fit your lifestyle while making a meaningful impact. You’ll work directly on-site, Monday through Friday, between 7am and 3pm, serving students at a single school location.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status accepted
- Experience or clinical knowledge working in school settings, supporting K-12 populations
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with IEP teams
- Maintain timely and accurate records, including progress reports and documentation for students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student growth
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse learner needs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and professional development activities as needed
