Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Holds active or eligible SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Committed to collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
- Familiar with IEP processes and compliance
- Able to adapt instruction to meet varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students at one school location
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document and report progress in accordance with school and legal standards
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute insights to student support teams
- Offer guidance, as needed, to staff and families regarding speech-language development
- Maintain compliance with all district and federal guidelines
