Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP-CCC or eligibility to complete CFY under supervision
- Experience with pediatric or school-based populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices, or interest in learning
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage documentation, develop IEPs, and provide direct/indirect services in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in both in-person and teletherapy settings, depending on current assignments
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to promote optimal outcomes for students
- Participate in evaluation, progress monitoring, and compliance activities as required within the school system
- Adapt therapy plans and approaches to meet diverse needs across multiple caseloads
