Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current certificate of clinical competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington
- Prior experience within a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
Duties:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and maintain thorough documentation of progress
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to support generalization of communication strategies in academic and social settings
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Participate in student evaluation meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing staff development
