Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a K–12 school setting is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP procedures, progress reporting, and educational documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide targeted, evidence-based therapy to individuals and small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student achievement
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based consultation
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages student growth and participation
