Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Puyallup, WA

As the Speech-Language Pathologist, you will serve a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students. Your expertise will be vital in guiding speech and language improvement and ensuring students receive the tailored support they need throughout the school year.
Experience and Credentials Desired:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous work with school-aged children preferred
- Strong ability to conduct and interpret evaluations
- Capable of writing clear, actionable IEPs
- Prior supervisory experience or willingness to mentor an SLPA
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop, draft, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Supervise and provide guidance to a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ goals
- Manage a caseload of about 30 students, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for students
