This full-time, onsite contract position spans a diverse caseload of approximately 39 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. You'll work closely with educators and licensed Speech Language Pathologists to make a lasting impact on students’ communication skills and overall development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Prior experience working in educational or healthcare settings as an SLPA is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students of all abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy sessions to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted intervention strategies
- Collect and maintain accurate records on student progress and session activities
- Participate in team meetings and support the development of comprehensive treatment plans
- Communicate regularly with families and staff to ensure consistency and reinforce therapy goals across settings
