This contract, full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 39 students from kindergarten through 12th grade. As an onsite SLPA, you'll collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and educational professionals, helping students achieve their communication goals while advancing your own professional development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current CO licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
- Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is strongly preferred
- Ability to support K-12 students with varied communication needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Your Role Will Involve:
- Implementing therapeutic strategies designed by supervising SLPs
- Delivering individual and group intervention sessions
- Collecting data and monitoring student progress
- Maintaining documentation in compliance with school and district protocols
- Participating in team meetings, parent conferences, and IEP reviews as necessary
- Providing support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies for students
