Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Proven experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Skilled in teletherapy methods and online platforms
- Expertise in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering therapy to diverse learners
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct/virtual therapy sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student success
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations
- Adapt therapy approaches for in-person and teletherapy delivery
- Serve as a resource and advocate for communication needs within the school community
