Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Consideration also given to strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates)
- Experience in educational and/or healthcare settings working with children and adolescents
- Strong skills in assessment, development, and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Proven ability to conduct therapy sessions both onsite and via teletherapy platforms
- Effective organizational and communication abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and modalities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to diverse K-12 students
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to craft and coordinate student programming
- Engage in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to goal setting and strategy planning
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to foster student progress in communication, social skills, and academic achievement
- Provide teletherapy services as needed, ensuring accessibility for remote learners
- Participate in professional development and stay current with evidence-based practices
