Step into a rewarding contract position as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students near Providence, RI. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Rhode Island
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Passion for empowering students through individualized therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed therapy logs, progress notes, and documentation as required by district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
