Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-age children is highly desired
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of students, from mild to moderate caseloads
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ communication needs
- Create and deliver therapy sessions, both individual and group, in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, assessments, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
