Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain in Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students (individually and in small groups)
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate case files, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent/teacher meetings as needed
