Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License in Virginia (SLP)
- Open to candidates with CCC or CFY status
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations across a range of grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress in academics and communication
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation consistent with school and regulatory standards
- Potentially travel between multiple school sites within the district, as assigned by caseload
- Attend team meetings, participate in professional development, and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative environment
