Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and student evaluation in compliance with IDEA
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both small group and individual settings
- Maintain ongoing communication with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and needs
- Document evaluations, session notes, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Promote positive, inclusive learning environments and encourage student engagement
